Posh Puppy came into existence January 1st, 2006
My friend and neighbor Sally decided to retire and travel after grooming for 40 years.
She fine tuned my skills, offered advice for running a shop, and sold me her equipment before
packing her camper and taking off with her husband, John, and six Yorkies.
September 2009 UPDATE!!!
Due to constant demand and requests for day & overnight care, I have hired a full-time groomer to help in the shop.
We did all the license, registrations, etc.etc.etc. to start up our new business of
FurrBabies Daycare & Camp Tinker Overnight, LLC
It was an INSTANT success. In fact word of mouth got us started quicker than the advertising and website update!!

I have a beautiful, clean shop. All tools, tub, shake off stand and
grooming table are cleaned between every dog.

Blades, clippers and scissors are sharpened and maintained via a monthly service.

Since I operate on appointment only basis, your dog is very rarely caged.
They enjoy free run of the shop when they are "pretty".

New clients are allowed to run free and we have "play" time
to get to know one another before first groom.

All the babies enjoy the windows they can see out of while I am working on them.
Of course, it is quite the adventure when they catch sight of a squirrel !!

The floors and walls are bleached every week
and the shop is "bug bombed" every Friday night.

I do not provide "flea dips". Your dog will not benefit from this unless
you also treat your entire home and yard.

I do sell flea collars, along with a large variety of toys, clothing, collars & leashes.
I can add to my supply order any special requests. 
Items can be shipped or picked up at the shop.
Puppy Pads, Vitamins, Pet Beds, Dishes, Frontline, etc.

All pets coming into the shop must be current on their vaccinations.
Please don't expose your baby or others to potential problems.

Treats are given when they are good.
(and returning puppies know EXACTLY where the bone jar is!!)  
I provide Milk Bones & fresh water while they are here.
If your pet has special dietary issues, please let me know up front.

Most older dogs develop some type of "catch in their get-along",
 and enjoy the massage they get in the tub.

New puppies have the "help, I am drowning",
and the "NO, don't touch that" issues.
Extra time is scheduled for them and they receive
 a slow "lot of loves and kisses" grooming.

Return appointments always know exactly what the
"pretty baby bandanna" means!
They are done, and can play!!

My shop welcomes dogs of all sizes.
I groom a 2# teacup poodle up to a 185# stud St. Bernard.
